pbuilder is the core tool to build inside a chroot.

cowbuilder is a pbuilder wrapper to build inside a chroot on top of 
cowdancer (using COW - copy-on-write - instead of unpacking a tarball 
and throwing it away afterwards as pbuilder does by default).

qemubuilder is a pbuilder wrapper to use qemu for cross-arch builds.
