[debian] Time zone reset to Newfoundland

Does someone have an idea why my FR's timezone would regularly be reset
to St-John's (aka Newfoundland)?
The symptom is that my Zhone window gives me some odd time
(Newfoundland is 1h30 ahead of Montreal, apparently) with "NDT" at
the end. The /etc/localtime (which I usually set as a symlink to
/usr/share/zoneinfo/America/Montreal) is changed into a copy of
/usr/share/zoneinfo/America/St_Johns.
I've never seen any such thing on any of my other Debian boxes, so
I assume it's got to do with FSO/Zhone/younameit trying to be clever.
Any hint?
Stefan
