Setting up qemubuilder

Hi

I'm having difficulties with setting up qemubuilder (which I want to use to
build debs for freerunner in a clean environment).

I've tried to follow instructions from http://wiki.debian.org/DebianOnFreeRunner

But --create failed: recommended kernel from 
http://ftp.us.debian.org/debian/dists/sid/main/installer-armel/current/images/versatile/netboot/vmlinuz-2.6.26-1-versatile
was unable to mount root.

Looks like it does not have needed driver compiled in.
Likely it is inside an initrd.

I've tried to fetch initrd from the same place, and added INITD=...
to the qemubuilder config file. However it failed again, with
