We have the "no regression for the next MS" rule here. In between it can be
broken but should hopefully get fixed fast. For bigger changes, like PDU mode
for SMS, Daniel used an extra branch and merged it once it was ready.

Hmm, not really sure what you mean here. For the frameworkd we have the git repo
and are pretty happy with it. Same for zhone. If you like to get commit access
to them that should be as easy as sending your ssh key to mickeyl. For the stuff
you are perhaps planing to write choosing the SCM and hosting place would be
your choice. E svn, a git repo at freesmartphone, as you prefer.

To me it seems that we just have some corner cases where we need to mail pachtes
around, I still like this for review, like me working on illume. For the other
stuff we have our working setups.

For OE there is still the mtn thing. Mickey, Jan, Daniel and me have commit
access there but for this we must use mtn and not the git mirror, which is
read-only atm. So if you like to make changes here mailing patches is the best
way I can see. Or are you interested in an OE account? Of course that would mean
mtn :)

So in short, I see not much big problems with the process. Let me know if I
missed a part you had original in mind.
