Using the freesmartphone Framework for IAX communications

Hello Marek, how are the US ?

Wolfgang told me that you are trying to see how to use IAX
(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Inter-Asterisk_eXchange) communication
with the Open Moko.

Actually if i understand correctly, what you want is a high level API
that would let you use a ANY voice communication channel (IAX, SIP,
GSM...)

You probably want to ask Mickey about this. I am still not sure about
this high level communication API. For what I know, we already have a
GSM service :

The example application, zhone :

is currently using this service
 
But no idea if we provide a layer on top of it to abstract any voice
communications ? I CC the mail on the freesmartphone mailing list so
that other people can explain better where we stand on this.
