Creating a virtual dev environment

Hi all.

I've created a first virtualbox session that has essentially everything
set up. I've documented the steps in my blog:

I kinda don't want to publish the virtualbox session just yet as it's
not quite clear to me, what all needs to be done for the FSO/zhone to
run correctly in the virtual environment. It should mostly be about
implementing an alternative framework-daemon backend that doesn't rely
on the actual hardware but emulates it (how are events "triggered" and
actions "handled"?).

I also first want to add some scripts&docs for how to use this virtual
session.

If anyone wants to get this session now, please send me an email; it's
roughly 1GB and based on (x)ubuntu.
