[OE stablebranch] some issues I encountered during building navit

Hello,

Recently I have been trying to build navit (from cvs) for my H2210 ipaq
for the Angstrom 2007.12 distro.

http://wiki.navit-project.org/index.php/Navit_on_Angstrom has a small
writeup of what I did to make things work.


Locale generation was disabled to work around a qemu compilation issue.

dbus 1.2.1 was necessary to work around this bug

Then there's a GCC 4.3.x workaround for gmp.

Then the `bitbake navit` works.


Remaining issue is the bug at

There are a number of QA issues. How can these be explained?
And better: how can these be fixed?

Anyone here that understands the process and that can look into these?
