Summary: libcurl linkage against host gnutls
    Classification: Unclassified
           Product: Openembedded
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: minor
          Priority: P1
         Component: org.openembedded.dev
        AssignedTo: openembedded-issues at lists.openembedded.org
        ReportedBy: mdarland at pager.net

It appears that during the install phase of libcurl linkage is acquired against
the host OS's libgnutls (verified using the ldd tool). This seems to appear
only in cases where the host and target systems have compatible architectures
(e.g. i686-linux host, i586-linux target).

I can't verify if this is a problem with how gnutls is installed, but other
applications that link against gnutls (e.g. cups) seem to be OK.

This problem in turn prevents opkg from running resulting in a
'less-than-configured' first-boot state.
