Ok, so I got the keyboard working if I change 

CONFIG_KEYBOARD_LOCOMO=m

to

CONFIG_KEYBOARD_LOCOMO=y

For some reason it's not loading the module properly.  Any particular we
shouldn't just compile the keyboard support into the kernel directly?
