Hmm, when compiling the kernel, it seems to be included as:

NOTE: Checking Package: kernel-module-locomokbd

It could be as simple as replacing locomo-kbd with locomokbd.  The module we're
looking for is:

/lib/modules/2.6.24-rc8/kernel/drivers/input/keyboard/locomokbd.ko
