SDL for Openzaurus

Referring to the manual provided by the link
http://www.openembedded.org/wiki/GettingStarted, I tried to generate a tool
chain for Sharp Openzaurus. 
After proceeding step by step I managed to install all required software tools
and packages as well. Furthermore I adapted the configuration settings in
local.conf by following the manual description.

So far so good but the building process to build gpe-image ends up with the
following error message: “Can’t build for 2.6 with a non-2.6 source!”.

I did not find any hints how to solve the problem.
