[oe] testing branch 2010-10-29

We've switched to 10.04 as host.
With that most things build fine.

With 8.04 I had some issues.
See the thread 'e2fsprogs build problems (with ubuntu 8.04 host)"

However, as the autobuilder moved to 10.04 I will cease to stop 8.04 testing.
Time permitting I will also put some info in the wiki on my setup (as
asked on irc).
