[Mipsbook-devel] [ANN]: choose boot from different root devices by pressing F-Keys (e.g. NAND yaffs, SD card, minifs)

I have added a patch [1] that checks if some F-Keys are pressed and
changes/overwrites the root= parameter provided from U-Boot. This
allows to choose the rootfs come from SD card (first or second
partition), the internal yaffs2 system or the jffs2 minifs (both in
NAND flash). A description of the modifier keys is in [2]. This solves
issue #78.
Please note that we currently don't have a rootfs for the minifs
partitiopn. And we don't have a flasher tool. My idea would be to use
a stripped down debian lenny base install. Flashing should be quite
trivial by doing some "dd -of=/dev/mtd3".
