[Gpephone-devel] Neo1973 images

Hi!

We have images and tools for G(PE)^2 development on the Neo1973 now.

The filesystem image contains latest G(PE)^2 bits in OE and some tools for
development. I can't say that it looks good, but it basically works:

I will upload a compatible toolchain and my OE configuration to the same location.

Flash the images using dfu-util in this way:
dfu-util -a5 -R -D gpephone-image-fic-gta01.jffs2
dfu-util -a3 -R -D uImage-fic-gta01-latest.bin

Things that work:
- Battery and charger status
- Voice calls (after initialising the modem using minicom on /dev/ttyACM0 with
the "at+cops" command and restarting the session.)
- Device controls: power off, suspend (breaks GSM)
- USB gadget networking (the device has 192.168.0.202 and uses 192.168.0.200 as
default gateway)
- ptim input

Known issues:
 - The theme looks ugly, the default font sizes are too small and the softkeys
at the wrong location.
 - Application startup display does not work
 - Launching applications needs a double-tap on the icon
 - The virtual keyboard does not close sometimes
 - No way to change the input method currently
 - No SIM PIN requester: if your SIM has a pin you need to unlock it using minicom

PS: These images do not mean that G(PE)^2 now tries to compete with OpenMoko,
but the Neo1973 is one of the few devices available for development.
