Hi Nan YE,
After doing a full update of my org.openembedded.dev tree, 'bitbake 
librecord' still failed on exactly the same error.
However, librecord2 built fine and seems to have satisfied all 
dependencies for further builds, as my 'bitbake gpephone-image' is 
progressing past this point.

Would it be possible to update the dependency tree to DEPENDS += 
"librecord2" instead of librecord?  From the list archives, I was not 
the only person to have this issue.
