I got past this step (and a few more), but there is still something wrong
with the build.  I documented my steps here:
http://bugs.openembedded.org/show_bug.cgi?id=3196

It looks like somebody attempted to remove the POTFILES part of the build,
but did not complete it, as even with calling out the directories and files
explicitly, there is no rule to make POTFILES.in

I will continue to try and fix this, but perhaps someone more knowledgeable
than me can commit a fix?  It is preventing a build of gpephone-image
