[Gpephone-devel] GemWidget 1.0 released

Dear all,

I have released GemWidget 1.0 in our download page. Compare to our
previousrelease 0.1, it has following changes:
1) add missing files in "po" directory and support furthur
internalization and localization development;
2) add a new widget named GemTranslucentWindow. It provides the real
background translucent effect on a common GtkWindow.
3) add a test program named "test-transwindow" to test and demostate
effects that provided by GemTranslucentWindow.

This effect needs your Xserver support Xcomposite, Xdamage, Xrender
extension. Currently, if you want a dynamic background translucnet(not
fake translucnet) effect, you still need a composite manager(e.g.,
xcompmgr) running backgound (these kind of managers would redirect all
the existing window to offline storage which we need during rendering,
but we will do this by GemTranslucentWindow itself). :)
