in the "generic" distribution the gconf-dbus package defaults to latest one from
SVN... that's a bad idea and breaks with our old glib.

Just add this to your local.conf:
SRCDATE_gconf-dbus = "20061006"

It tells bitbake to use the sources from a defined date.

This might be possible - in fact we would use OE as well but we would build our
packages "natively" inside Scratchbox. We should try this some time...
