Hi, Florian, all

I love this proposal so much.

Extra tasks could be:
-Setting. A setting mechanism should be provided behind the Configuration and customization GUI
-Theming.
-Notification. Notifications used to notify other applications that something interesting has happened.
-Power Management. Though majority of the tasks should be handled by kernel, application framework should provide assistant facilities.
-Profile: silent, normal, meeting, etc
-Calendar, task, alarm, etc.
-Performance improvement. Certain high level mechanism should be provided to improve the performance (Nothing to do with HW acceleration)
-integrating glade into the SDK
-Scratchbox based SDK improvement: automatically building process; generate ipkg for each component (consistent with OE), etc.
-Other interesting new applications

Regards
YU Yijun
