Multi-media is definitely a point, though this is already quite well
covered using GStreamer. Some application enhancements would be nice though.
Cocerning power management I am not so sure what G(PE)2 can do about it.
Most of it should be taken care by the unerlying Linux implementation
plus probably one or two service daemons. What we could do in G(PE)2 is
IMHO only screensaver, key-lock and a "force-low-power-mode-now" button.
On the other hand it might be nice to have a more fine grain control
inside the framework? Hmmm...
