Hello!
I would like to propose to make a new GPE Phone Edition Release, i.e. a
new release of all packages that form GPE Phone Edition.

We had our latest release in Febuary while the announcement - it is time
for a new one ;)

So this is a call to all package maintainers, please stabilize your
current development and create new release-archives of your packages!

For this new G(PE)^2 V1.2 release I would like to suggest to fix a first
release date, like 1st of August.

This release is not necessarily intended to mark a new milestone,
function- or featurewise. The main reason is so that interested people
can download more recent packages and that we can have new versions to
point to. So rather a maintenance release ;)
Ideally this should be pretty easy to do. Every maintainer would "just"
have to assign a new version number to his/her package, tar-it up and
upload it. But please check that the sources compile and run.
Experimental and unstable features can be included as long as the main
functionality can be guaranteed.
