[Gpephone-devel] Say Hello & About Instance Message

Hello, everybody, I am ZHAO Liangjing from France Telecom R&D Beijing. Now
is a great time for gpephone project,
and it is my first time working with community. Nice to meet you all guys.

In the last one year, my colleagues and I were working on the LiPS (Linux
Phone Standards) compliant enablers
& implementations. Particularly, I've mainly focused on the Instance Message
spec & implementation in FT. Although
we've worked hard for almost one year, there are still lots of things need
to be completed. I am very glad to share what
I've done and get any help from anyone of you.

If you look at the svn repository, we provide a framework of IM enabler and
a draft XMPP implementation.
The structure is described in
http://gpephone.linuxtogo.org/doc/components/manual-libim.htm .
Currently, the XMPP implementation just supports Message Sending /
Receiving, basic Presence Publish / Notification, subscribe / authorization
and some buddy management. More features, patches and new protocol from you
would be quit appreciated.
Of course, I would also like you to give your comments, suggestions,
questions or criticism from your.
