[Gpephone-devel] who is reinventing the wheel? openmoko or gpephone?

Hello!

    It seemed that the openmoko and gpephone are very similar. They
both want to become a mobile phone software stack,  they are both
based on OpenEmbedded / GTK+/ DBUS... , they are both open source
software.

   I'm wonder why there are 2 projects ?  who reinvent the wheel ?
gpephone or openmoko ?  Can gpephone reference some idea/source from
OpenMoko? or Can openmoko reference some from gpephone ?

   The KDE and Gnome have a competition in desktop , Will there be a
competition between openmoko and gpephone ?

   AFAIK , the gpephone is sponsored by France Telecom, and the
openmoko is sponsored by FIC(www.fic.com.tw) . Is it a competition
between France Telecom and FIC ?
