What version are you using? There is an option to hide completed items at the
bottom of the category selection drop-down. This preference is saved.

I believe this is a duplicate of bug #70, now fixed.
Note: if this happens with the sidebar enabled then it is not the same problem:
please open a new bug and make it clear the crash is with the sidebar enabled.

I guess I'll find out when the next version comes out (I couldn't figure out
how to make SVN compile). Sometimes it doesn't crash; it just shows the Agenda
view in all views; this persists even after enabling the sidebar.
