This sounds nasty indeed. It would be cool if you find a way to reproduce this
behavior. It looks like the application ends up in an endless loop or something
like this... Some basic information about the device firmware you have installed
and which versions of the GPE applications from which repository do you use.

I don't think that we have this one in the bugtracker already but creating a new
bug report with this information would be good.
