yes indeed, SoC would be good for GPE and related projects.
In 2005 and 2006 we participated through handhelds.org which seems to me more or
less dead (apart from being evil) and therefore is no option any more.
Currently I have some doubt if we have enough people who would help if we apply
for it. Another problem is that the deadline ends today... but I'll send a mail
to this list and the GPE Phoen Edition list now and ask - if we have a few
people who want to help I would submit the application for GPE.
