Well, just have a look at this change:
http://projects.linuxtogo.org/plugins/scmsvn/viewcvs.php/trunk/base/gpe-login/gpe-login.c?root=gpe&r1=9059&r2=9087
So, this patch just finished what that one started ;-).

Summary: Calendar becomes empty.
Product: gpe-calendar
Version: 0.91
Platform: Nokia 770
OS/Version: Linux
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P4
Component: default
AssignedTo: gpe-bugs at linuxtogo.org
ReportedBy: hendrik at topoi.pooq.com
CC: hendrik at topoi.pooq.com
Estimated Hours: 0.0
Well, actually it's the Nokia N800, not the N770, and the version number I have
for gpe-calendar is 2.8+maemo-1, but I couldn't choose those from the menu on
the Bugzilla page. Adjust as necessary.
I have gpe-calendar running on my Nokia 800 with the factory-installed OS 2007.
Last weekend, all my appointments vanished. The calendar application comes up
all right, but it is a blank slate, just like the first time it came up a month
or two ago when it was new.
However, my appointments are still in the data base. Running
gpe-calendar -e
from an xterm produces a useful list of appointments.
I started discussion about this on the maemo mailing list, archived at
http://lists.maemo.org/pipermail/maemo-users/2008-February/009467.html. I
found a previous report of what appears to be the same bug at
http://www.handhelds.org/hypermail/gpe/58/5886.html. That report was on a
different platform (a Zaurus), so it's probably a gpe problem, not a maemo
problem. That's why I'm moving discussion here.
I made a copy of the .gpe/calendar file for whoever takes on this bug. I'd
prefer not to post my private data publically, but can do that if necessary.
