Basically i'm fine with the patches - the only thing that causes headaches is to
"hardwire" screen calibration to xcalibrate which is not maintained if I
remember correctly.

#125 is fixed now, thanks for the patch.
The patch for #123 does not apply to latest svn (see comment). But I'm happy for
any improvement in this area, only time is a little bit limited.
