I strongly recommend using the .install files from my repository page, unless
you actually need to use the daily build. The daily builds are completely
untested and would only be used if you are trying to test a particular
change.

Not a known bug. And I am fairly sure it works fine in the released version.
However, I have just tested with my latest daily build and you are right!

Fortunately, your solution is straightforward. Go back and install using the
released version. That will mean the following steps:

1) Remove any reference to my daily build repository.

2) You need to remove all the GPE packages. Unfortunately most of them are
not visible in the application manager and I do not think it necessarily
removes unused dependent packages. So, I recommend that you use an X
Terminal session and get root access. Then, as root, say:

apt-get remove libsoundgen libmimedir-gnome libgpewidget \
libgpepimc libeventdb libtododb libgpevtype libcontactsdb \
 gpesyncd gpe-icons libxsettings-client libhandoff gpe-calendar \
 gpe-contacts gpe-todo gpe-timesheet starling gpe-filemanager \
 gpesummary

apt-get may complain that some of them are not known, in which case drop them
from the command and try again.

3) Install using the link from my repository page:
http://www.cobb.uk.net/NokiaIT/index.html#gpe

4) Go back to whatever source said to install using the daily builds and get
it corrected!

Anyway, thanks for finding the bug. Now I need to work out what has happened
in the last month!

Graham
