Yes that's great, it would be great to have autotools support for all GPE
applications at some point.

That's interesting as well. the best would be to use the infrastructure of the
Translationproject for this purpose. If some GPE application is not registered
there it should be easy to fix.

For some reason your patch did not make it to the list... did you forget to
attach it or do we need to blame mailman?
