[Gpe-list] gpe-mini-browser2 : feedback/feature requests

Hi all,

For some time now I have started on gpe-mini-browser2 based on WebKit-GTK now
that gtk-webcore is unmaintained and obsoleted by that port of WebKit.

I already have some code for a minimally functional browser in the GPE svn. It
has more or less the same interface than the old version, which I will keep
the same. (I still however need to add the pop-up url box for very small
screens though). It has gotten more command line options and now also features
a kiosk mode. The fullscreen modes are still there (except that for the
complete fullscreen mode the urlbar stays now, so that you do not need to
toggle out of fullscreen anymore to enter a new url.

New features already planned : 
* Tabs!!!!
* Bookmarks and history 
* autocompletion of urls
* separate download manager (disabled in kiosk mode)

So now I would like to hear all you guys about missing features in the
original gpe-mini-browser that would be welcomed. Support for https, cookie
handling (which should work in WebKit-GTK now) all depend on the back-end so
these would be out of scope of this discussion.

PS: There is a gpe-mini-browser2_svn.bb in OpenEmbedded. However atm it fails
building due to a linking issue caused by webkit. A simple temporary fix is
adding -ltdc++ to the LDFLAGS of the gpe-mini-browser2 Makefiles.
