I have noticed the exact same behavior on my N800 running Maemo 4.0, and I do
not sync my calendar with anything else at the moment. I plan on adding some
features related to alarms so I'll see if I can learn enough about the code to
squash this bug while I'm at it. :) Might take me a while.
