I have now added support for the STATUS attribute in the vtodo handling.  I 
believe this should fix this problem but as I do not use todos I am not able 
to test that the problem is really fixed.

The fix is updated in svn and it will appear in a daily build of the Maemo 
packages in due course.  Ryan, I will let you know when there is a bora 
package for you to test.
