[Gpe-list] What is the status of gpe applications for IT2008?

Although not a core application, I am currently enhancing
gpe-filemanager for IT2007 for now, but plan to shift the effort over to
IT2008 using the latest vmware appliance this weekend.  I have added a
flag so that the file manager can display hidden files (i.e. files and
directories that start with ".") and changed the handling of a
single-tap on a file to display the context-sensitive menu.  The gtk
tap_and_hold facility assumes static menus so a work around is needed to
get that to work.   I  need to read up on the updates to GTK.
I am also looking at moving the directory bar to a submenu as it takes
valuable real estate.
