I'm not seeing anything as repeatable as this although I do occasionally see
calendar start up briefly and then crash and then work fine next time. I
have not put any effort into debugging this although I was wondering if it is
something to do with the amount of time calendar takes to start when sqlite
has a journal file to apply (I tend to see this after gpesyncd has crashed
leaving lots of unapplied updates). I was wondering if Hildon decides to
kill it because it isn't responding or something? But that doesn't explain
your experience.
When I want to see what is happening I start up an Xwindow and just run
gpe-calendar from there to see if I can see any useful error messages. I
don't know of any way to get logs from the normal execution.
