I don't think so.  Sorry to redirect you but you will need to ask on the
GPE
list.  I have only contributed to the sync code and created the Maemo
packages, other developers have worked on the applications themselves!

If you can reproduce the crash, one thing you can do is login a terminal
session (as the user account, not as root) and just run gpe-calendar
from the
terminal and see what messages it displays when it crashes.

Again, I don't know.  Sorry.

However, I have worked on gpesyncd and I will reply to your post about
importing contacts soon!
