Should be fixed in 0.51 released about one week ago. I'll check if we have this
in OE already.

Could you take a look, that might be one for you. I guess Angstr?m ships a SVN
build of gpe-calendar and libeventdb.

This is quite likely to be an issue with the GTK your distribution ships. Could
you try what happens if you select files with other applications like the text
editor?
