[Gpe-list] GPE Calendar slowdown

Hi

I recently changed from Palm handhalds to N800 Internet Tablet and 
imported seven years of events to GPE Calendar. Now the Calendar is so 
slow it's almost unusable. It takes several seconds to show a simple 
page view. I wouldn't want to give up my history of events, so are there 
any options I could tweak to increase the performance of the Calendar? 
Are there any optimisations planned for performance with large amounts 
of data.
