[Gpe-list] gpe-contacts: delete all contacts in a particular category?

Before I file a bug report on this, I want to be sure that the
capability really does not exist:
  Is it possible easily to delete all the contacts in a particular category?

I'm not sure whether this would be filed as an enhancement or a real
bug... on the one hand if gpe-contacts doesn't currently support this,
then it's an enhancement request; on the other hand, a PIM that
doesn't allow one to delete all the contacts in a single category
could reasonably be described as containing a bug by definition.

But maybe someone will tell me that there is in fact some way to do
this, so I won't have to decide which sort of bug it is. I hope.
