Hello GPE,

  There was quite annoying gpe-info bug which caused it segfault on
start for some machines, and not others (see
http://bugs.openembedded.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1520 for example). I see
that it was finally fixed in:

  This is pretty serious bug, so can we expect a new release for it?

  And regarding the machine detection code, I see that GPE didn't
outstrip OPIE much ;-) - same text arrays in hardcoded. Would
maintainers consider that this doesn't scale at all and should be
specified in text config file instead? If so, what format they would
prefer? I'd personally skipped any XMLs and made just CSV-like
config, with each line corresponding to the DeviceMap_t structure.

  Just please sound you opinion, and someone sooner or later will go
for that ;-).
