Just that making tarballs requires Florian to do it, doesn't it?  Whereas 
creating a tag can be done by any developer.

Maemo is also a bit of a mess -- the packages out in the wild are not 
necessarily consistent with each other.  It is for that reason that I support 
using MUD to build a consistent set of Maemo packages.  Personally I am 
running versions I have built myself.

There are quite a lot of bugs outstanding but I support Koen's call for a 
release.  I do plan to work on some of the outstanding bugs with conversions 
and import/export when I get time but, due to work commitments, that is not 
going to be until late March at the earliest (anyone else on the list going 
to be in Barcelona next week?!).  We should do a release now even if there 
ends up being another one around Easter if we can fix some more bugs.
