[Gpe-list] help erminig stopped working

environment: Nokia N800
GPE PIM
erminig sync app for gpe calendar and contacts?

installed erminig and all associated deb files.

when I first clicked on erminig it came up and I was able to configure it
for googlemail and the resident gpe calendar

when I pressed "update" nothing happened and at the botttom of the screen it
said that the update had been successful. It was not.

I was able to open erminig a couple of times. Now it flashes something on
the screen and does not come up
