[Gpe-list] New gpesyncd available

The new gpesyncd is now available in SVN. There has been no change to the
commands gpesyncd accepts or to the way it is used. However, this new
version uses the database libraries and does not access the database
directly. This means it is compatible with the current gpe-calendar,
gpe-contacts and gpe-todo applications (and, I hope, should stay that way!).

If you use synchronisation, please build this new version from SVN and try it
out. You can report bugs in the GPE bugzilla (http://bugs.linuxtogo.org/).

I have tested it with Opensync with my events and contacts (and a couple of
todos). There are a few known problems (all logged in bugzilla) which are
bugs or restrictions in libmimedir so I don't have immediate fixes for them:

Bug 7: Cannot import events containing WKST. This causes the whole event to
be rejected.

Bug 9: Alarm triggers are not exported

Bug 10: Alarms are not imported. This does not cause the whole event to be
rejected, the alarm is just lost.

I am sure there are other bugs so please try it out and report any errors or
problems you see. In particular, the only handheld I have tested it on is
the Nokia 770 so it would be good to know that it works on other devices.

Graham
