Interesting - I have cross-compiled QOF with this in place but I can
see the problem. I'll investigate for the next release.

Yes, that was fixed Tue Nov 29 20:34:26 2005 UTC, v0.6.1

Emdebian does!
;-)

That's why I'm keen to debug the problems you had in OE. I've spent the
last two weeks putting GPE into Debian just so that Emdebian can
cross-compile it to provide a wider mix of applications for embedded
platforms. GPE is the start, the lessons learnt will help cross-compile
all of Debian.

If there's any documentation or help that you think should be put in
the tarball, please let me know. Where do you normally look for
information on cross-building an application / library? Should there be
a README.cross file or similar? Is there a standard / expected format
or filename?

Wookey and I are hoping to have something for Fosdem2007 and maybe even
a launch of an Emdebian cross-compiled distribution - based on GPE for
arm - for DebConf7, Edinburgh.
:-)
