I have a Zaurus SL-C1000 (akita) and I build angstrom (2007.1) using the
OpenEmbedded build system. When the system first comes up after flashing, I
get a screen offering to make a user, I believe this is gpe-login but I could
be wrong. When this user is created, it is not part of any group, and that is
my problem. I realize that there are many security reasons for the users to
each be in separate groups, and that is great, however, there are many
functional reasons to give rights to a group (users) so that I don't have to
give rights to each individual. I would like the users primary group to be
retained for the obvious security benefit of it being the default group for new
files, etc. I would in addition like the user to be added to the group
"users".

I do not forsee any issue with this, unless someone has a problem with the
general idea, the implementation is simple. If there are questions please feel
free to ask me.
