I'm not sure what version of gpe this is (there is no --help / --version / -h /
-v / -V option to gpe-calendar on my openzaurus). It is part of the openzaurus
3.5.4 image for the collie (SL-5500 Sharp Zaurus).

summary: when in single day view, tap once on an appointment that has the
"details" entry filled, and if that entry doesn't contain line breaks to make
the preview appear in the screen then it will overflow and the buttons not be
visible - you can still tap the correct place, but you have to guess / know in
advance which one is the save and which the delete (it is very painful to press
the delete, from experience).

reproduce: create an appointment, write a long details section with no line
breaks, save, then tap once in the single day view.

workaround: add line breaks manually to the text.
