[Bitbake-dev] Problems running bitbake on mac

$ bitbake --version
BitBake Build Tool Core version 1.13.0, bitbake version 1.13.0

-DDD tells me nothing interesting, it lists all the bb files as not being
cached and then the progressbar shows and nothing happens.
