frame rate: 24 fps
resolution: 320x240 or 320x128 for wide screen
average bitrate: ~250-350 kbps (on tosa)
codec: xvid (fine with the advanced options, e.g. GMC, packed b frames, 
etc., but I recommend not to bother with qpixel)
audio: vbr mp3, 48KHz, 128 kbps
container: avi.

This is based on my experiences on sharp-rom and pdaxrom. Angstrom 
should breath a bit more bitrate for me.

also, overall video performance (based on user experiences on other 
roms) : c7x0 > c3x00 >> tosa
