[Angstrom-distro-users] Sandisk Connect Plus wifi card

The hostap module since late 2006 has support for the Connect Plus (a
card I have). It uses a Prism chipset with firmware.

Plug your card in, and "lsmod" as root. If you see "orinoco" or
"hermes" in that module listing, then hostap is being blocked from
seeing the card. Rmmod them, remove the modules with ipkg (they're
worthless with other cards, I haven't heard anyone needing them given
hostap in the kernel now), and try hostap instead with the
hostap-utils and prism-firmware.

Remember you'll need the wpa-supplicant if you have a WPA encrypted network.

Good luck!
