[Angstrom-distro-users] Lack of modules for current kernel

Paul,

I was able to locate that information by searching the
mailing lists before I made this post and I flashed
the new kernel but some modules are still not there.
Also when Try to install them through ipkg it installs
an older version which isn't working with my kernel.
An example is the g_ether module. When I install it
(ipkg update, ipkg install kernel-module-g-ether) it
installs a version for the 2.6.16-hh9 kernel
(kernel-module-g-ether_2.6.16-hh9-r0_hx4700.ipk. When
I try to modprobe it it gives me a module not found
error which I take to mean it doesn't find the correc
module for my kernel version. My kernel version is
2.6.21-hh17. My machine is a Ipaq hx4700.
